Welcome

Taking the step to pursue therapy can feel overwhelming, and I hope that the information provided here helps you navigate the process of choosing a provider.

I provide individual, relationship, and family therapy for clients struggling with a wide variety of issues.  I have experience working with people across the lifespan, with specific expertise in trauma, adjustment issues, transition to adulthood, gender spectrum related issues, work with the LGBTQ+ community, and depression and anxiety.

I practice an integrative approach to therapy, implementing cognitive-behavioral, developmental, psychodynamic techniques, and feminist and queer relational theory in my work.  I strongly believe in the need for tailoring the techniques used to meet the needs of each of my individual therapeutic relationships. I emphasize a collaborative approach to treatment that empowers clients to feel responsible for their own change, and to then feel capable of continuing their own work outside of the therapy office. I strive to provide my clients with both concrete skills to aid in immediate symptom relief, and deeper relational work to understand the developmental underpinnings of the issue at hand.  I feel this combination of focus on the present and exploration of the past is paramount for long term growth and relief of symptoms.
